Road Trip
A Visit to The British Museum
February 2001

Here we are in front of The British Museum, one of the greatest of all museums.
Left to right: Rupert and Candice (our hosts and good friends), my daughter Robin, and me, Bob..
Because of the great number of letters I got from the Wimbledon UK lithics report,
I decided to give you all another taste of what's to see here in the British Museum.
this time, I brought back an exceptional set of photos--- last time I came here looking
I found very little on display. I was looking in all the wrong places!

A digital camera provided all of the pics, and you'll be amazed at the clarity of the
shots. I tried to keep the file sizes small... if you want hi-rez copies of any of the
shots, please email me, and I'll send you the better copy. Lindow Man hi-rez shots
are available by clicking the pic on the page.

I've tried to include a little broader kind of selection of artifacts for you. Some shots
are closeups of things you can easily find full shots of elsewhere... I wanted to give
you an upclose experience, as if you were there!

Let me know what you think of this type of article and it's relevance to the rest of the
Dirt Brothers Website. Your comments are always welcome by me.
