Road Trip
A Visit to The British Museum
February 2001

I have to mention this amazing feature now present in the Museum's
courtyard. This $15 million glass ceiling was designed by a computer,
has no-two-parts-alike... all the panes of glass are unique!

I especially like the way this ceiling blends with the famous dome in
the British Library Reading Room, the building you see at lower right,
certainly one of the most famous libraries I know of, inspiration for
everyone from Marx to Longfellow.
