(a)  The concave sector adjacent to the dime appears to be a shaft (arrow)
      scraper as evidenced by much edge wear and surface polish on the 
      adjacent A face area.
(b)  The top side is a thin knife edge
(c)  Face A left / face B right side is a beveled scraper edge
(d)  Lower edge is ??
