disclosed nearby work areas,
two adjacent chambers to the main cave, and what I feared most. That being that we weren’t the only ones to find the cave. On one visit it was just a coke can in the cave, and evidence that someone had scratched around the floor. On my last visit it was more than that. This time the opening looked different, there were some stones moved back into the most sheltered part of the main cave. A low wall had been constructed, a pile of firewood brought in, and finally a cooler and a bottle of booze left waiting for return. My surmise is that a hunter found the cave and made himself at home. Should I be upset that he used metate fragments to build
a wall? Should I care that
