Bob has exposed below what the dozers have compacted. We look for this area to possibly be early archaic, as the soil type is the same as the in the deeper holes we cut out before the dozers came in.... layers that have produced much early archaic and paleo materials. Jacob's mom found a 3-1/2" Plainview in a dirt clod nearby. (see it on Jacob's new link on the Gallery Page) |
