Bob was skeptical, until he looked closely at this scale:

This one looks modified.... better to save this group than to assume they were not used as projectiles or as raw materials for projectiles....
Gar scales are uncommonly sharp--- nearly ready to use arrow points!

No more from the lake till the usual summer drought, when we get to see the damage inflicted by the 100s of personal watercraft to the shoreline.
