More from Dirt Bro Peter Thomas in Texas:

 I have some wonderful pics of my collection from Northwest Mississippi. All of these pieces were found by me personally, in the cotton fields during the winter and spring when they plow and after some good rains. I am interested in what you guys are all about. I didn't know that you could actually dig legally anywhere! I understand construction sights and farm areas, where digging is done for the purpose of the project, but isn't it illegal to dig anywhere else?

{{ The laws on this topic vary from place to place--- please, check with authorities in your area and avoid breaking the law!  The Dirt Brothers are focused on saving artifacts from destruction, whether on a ranch, or in a housing development.... we certainly do not dig just anywhere!!!  Please don't vandalise public property or parks--- they are there to be conserved.    Bob}}

I also am new to the Beaumont area of Texas and will be trying my best to find places to hunt for artifacts in this area. I have been collecting my pieces for over 20 years and grown to love the hobby. I've seen some exciting pics from Texas and can't wait to find my first piece here!

Thanks, Peter, we look forward to seeing your first Texas point!
Bob
