From Dirt Bro Robert Shadow in Louisiana:
All of the points were collected in Louisiana (Northwest and North Central), and Mississippi (Northeast and Central).  The only exception is the Golondrina point which was given to me by an uncle.  It came from Arkansas.

All of the pottery is from North Louisiana, except for one small piece I found in central Mississippi.

We went back turkey hunting this weekend, but the turkeys had the tight lip, so we started hunting arrowheads (projectile points) again.  There had been 8 inches of rain on the area since my last visit.  My new hot spot only yielded some broken points and 2 scrapers.  I did find some pottery this time, though not very much.  It looked like one large piece that had been broken in to many small pieces, they were all clustered together.

My girlfriend, Amber, did find a whole point in one of my old hot spots, so I guess there are still points there waiting for heavy rains.

I like the theory of the site you run.  I am all for collecting the artifacts that would be lost or destroyed.  My girlfriend has the fever for hunting them now, and she found more than me this weekend.  Here are some pics of the points.  Most of
them were badly broken, and none were really good quality, but I take them as they come.

I am also including a picture of a bead?  I am not sure if it is a bead or some
sort of fossil.

Any help you can offer for identification or dating would be much appreciated.

Thanks Robert! I know someone in your area will give you a holler.
Best of luck on that Master's Degree quest!!
Bob
