From Dirt Bro Michael in Louisiana:

Have enjoyed your site for over a year now and thought I would share some of the finds my brother and I had prior to his death. These Catahoula points were found on a sand bench located at the edge of Lake Catahoula in La. over a 3 year period. Many other point types were found at different levels, including at least a truckload of broken pottery.

We shared our information with Dr. Gregory at Northwestern University in
Natchitoches, La. and he informed us it was indeed a Coles Creek site. As I
am able to sort thru all the various frames, I will have a friend photograph
them so I can share them with you. Lots of Scallorn points were associated in
the site with drills, bone tools, plummets, and polished atlatl weights.

The photo includes one preform that only required the notches. A few of the
points (upper left, upper right and third from right bottom) are what are
referred to as "Flying Catahoulas" due ti their wide flaring barbs.

Thanks Michael!
More of his finds on the next page.
