Tom Atkinson and Bob ran into each other at David Calame's knap-in.
From Dirt Bro Tom Atkinson in Texas:

I've had some hard luck surface hunting lately, mostly due to the very high bay
tides this time of year (look out in December, though)... I'll save the few
things 'til there's more.  I have discovered a 'new' and interesting fact
(for me that is...), it's amazing how much evidence of the coastal peoples
is laying around very public places, ie: roadside fishing spots, bait stands
and highway construction, bridges, etc. there is to be found and preserved.
It may be one of my newest lines of investigation for a while! I found
pottery shards and broken lithics in some surprising places lately, pretty
exiting, wish I had more TIME to hunt!!   God bless you brother and keep
doin' what you're doin' there is value in this information.

Thanks Tom!
Tom's artifacts on the next few pages.
