While Vern Geiss and Ed Radtke, who both live west of Don Schultz,
had a few Woodland points in their collections we see that Don has found
many on his property. The top row shows Early Woodland stemmed
points, Robinson I believe. The second row starts out with a perforator,
another Robbins, and three blunts. The third row depicts one heavily
used blunt and the remaining artifacts reflect various Adena-type points.
Don said he spent many hours walking the fields to gather all these artifacts
and I, for one, know what that entails. I am sure there were also
many times that he would stop his tractor to retrieve one of these lovely
artifacts.
